When Yuri Paterson-Olenich’s CD of music by Rachmaninov appeared last year, it garnered rave reviews and was named “Disc of the Week” by Radio 3’s CD Review. He launches this season’s Russian themed series with epic breadth of Rachmaninov’s First Sonata. “… a pianist born for Rachmaninov.” (Gramophone)

Christmas Gala Concert

Llyr Williams  will play Beethoven's Sonatas Op. 109,110 and 111

This will be a special extended fund-raising concert aimed at ensuring the future of this concert series. Tickets will be priced at £20 (£16 concessions) which will include a glass of cava and a mince pie as well as a discount on Christmas lunch. There will also be a tour of the Museum's impressionist galleries in the afternoon.  No free "Cavatina" tickets for students will be available.
